As one of Nebraska's biggest cities, Omaha has its share of urban sprawl, but spend a little time in town and find museums, pleasant parks, plenty of places to tuck into for an Omaha steak and somewhat unexpectedly, an indoor rainforest.
Cedar Pass Campground is located in Badlands National Park, South Dakota, at the base of the Park's famous Pinnacles formation, just inside the Interior, SD entrance (Hwy 44). The Park's visitor center is nearby--as are its many trails and points of interest. Cedar Pass Campground provides water, tables, and flush toilets (April through September). It is close to Cedar Pass Lodge for campers who may want a hot dinner or who need to pick up groceries and supplies. Interior, South Dakota, is the closest town to the campground.
Open year-round (however, limited services during winter with no water hook up)
First come, first served
100 sites available; shared camp ground dump station
