This vehicle accessible high elevation lake is worth the trip just to view the typical North Cascae lake in an alpine setting. The road up to the lake offers grand views of the entire Upper South Fork Stillaguamish River basin. This small lake with its easy access lends itself to fishing with a small inflatable raft.

From I-5, east on State highway 92 to Granite Fall, 30 miles east on the Mountain Loop Highway (FS Rd 40). Exit onto FS Rd 4060, 6 miles to lake parking lot.
