If you are looking for the authoritative taste of life and leisure in Washington state then look no further—the Mountains to Sound Greenway has it all. Sample all urban Seattle has to offer from seafood to the Space Needle then travel across the state along waterways, mountain passes, and expansive national forests.

The Mountains to Sound Greenway starts in Seattle on the Pacific edge of the state and travels 100 miles east on I-90 to the small town of Thorp.

There are virtually limitless possibilities for recreation and experiencing history along this drive. The John Wayne Pioneer Trail travels across the entire state along the path of an old railway and is great for moderate hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Another highlight along your trip could be Snoqualmie Falls which plunges 270 feet and roars into to the river valley below.
