As one of Nebraska's biggest cities, Omaha has its share of urban sprawl, but spend a little time in town and find museums, pleasant parks, plenty of places to tuck into for an Omaha steak and somewhat unexpectedly, an indoor rainforest.
The Winter Park Mountain Lodge is located 97 miles from Denver International Airport. This is Winter Park's largest full service hotel and conference center, located directly across from the base of the Winter Park Resort. This property features a large indoor pool with two indoor hot tubs, an exercise room, an onsite ski and bike shop, and winter Park's only Microbrewery, the Moffat Station. A shuttle into town leaves the hotel every thirty minutes. The Winter Park Mountain Lodge is only 2 miles from the Amtrak station, with complimentary pickup and drop off.
The double bedded and king bedded guestrooms were renovated in the fall of 1998. The larger two-queen bedded rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows opened in 2000. All guest rooms are well equipped with modern comforts and amenities. Moffat Station, serves breakfast and dinner, daily, in addition to beers from its own brewery. The Winter Park Mountain Lodge offers onsite dining and is convenient to recreational areas.

Grand Lake Rocky Mountain National Park
Grand Lake
Rocky Mountain National ParkAt the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake is the deepest natural lake in Colorado, dipping to 265 feet. Fed by high mountain runoff, the lake is clear and pristine. In the summer, you can rent a boat, bring your own or simply enjoy the gentle lapping of the waves from the sandy shore. Grand Lake connects with Shadow Mountain Lake via a canal, and just down the road is Lake Granby, the second largest body of water in Colorado.
